Good afternoon and welcome to Social Media 1 – the first of two workshops for new business owners in Langara’s Self Employment Program.
In today’s workshop, I will help business owners to determine where their audience is (which social media channels they are using) and I will ask them to create at least one goal.
Next week, we will delve deeper into action steps, resources, and tools to achieve these goals. One-on-one support will be available during office hours beginning February 1st.
Here are some examples of social media goal topics to help you get started. If you choose one of these goals, please customize it for you specific business and make sure it is SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely).
