Welcome to Today’s Workshop

This site gives participants of our workshops, classes or consultations access to additional information and ongoing support. Participants can use this site to ask questions, share best practices, and even gain some experience using social media; but everyone is welcome here so feel free to join the conversation even if you haven’t attended one of our workshops. We hope that you will find this site useful, too.

Tanya Bennett has decades of business experience: as a business manager, trainer, coach, project manager and marketing manager. She was an instructor in the Continuing Studies Department of Langara College for 9 years (Business Communications, Social Media, Online Research, Digital Marketing). Tanya is the founder of Full Serve (a full service digital marketing agency) and owner of Vancouver Mysteries a games company rated #1 for team building on Yelp and a member of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.

Erica Halvorsen is on the faculty of The School of Business at BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology), where she has been teaching marketing since 2012. Currently she teaches courses related to sales, marketing, branding and public speaking in both the full time and part times studies programs. She also facilitates branding workshops for entrepreneurs through the YMCA’s Self Employment program, and is a consultant who helps small business owners and organizations with branding, marketing and communications at ericajane.ca.

Erica loves that she can take her knowledge of GIANT CORPORATE MARKETING, extract the useful bits and pass on effective tools and strategies to passionate business owners and organizations that are creating good in the world. Steal from the rich- give to the purposeful!

Years ago, she acquired a B.A.in Honours English from UBC, which wasn’t totally useless, after all.

Erica is into travel, art, words, connection and what makes us all tick. In another life, she is a marine biologist. In this life, she is a working mom of two complicated and hilarious children, whom she and her husband are attempting to raise in Vancouver, Canada.

Rina Liddle has taught a variety of social media, communication and critical theory courses at Emily Carr University, University Canada West and Brighton College since 2009.

She has an MA in Photography and Urban Culture from Goldsmiths College, University of London, England and a BFA in General Visual Arts from Emily Carr University.

Rina Liddle has been working as the team lead at Full Serve Web since June 2019 and has helped many clients obtain their business and organizational objectives through digital marketing management and training. She is also a practicing visual artist and has shown her installation works – many of them utilizing digital and social media components – worldwide, most notably receiving a grant for the work “We Are Watching”, a commission from the City of Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Rina believes in supporting local communities, eco and social justice and the slow food movement. On her time off, she enjoys swimming, cycling, running, cooking for friends and yoga.
