I’ve been spending some time exploring newsletter options for a client and I found this interesting conversation thread on Linkedin:

Two important details to take into account: 1. Some of the people offering their opinions actually work for the newsletter company that they recommend. 2. Also, the thread is from 2009.

Which Newsletter Service Would You Use?

There are at least 15 different newsletter services. Mail Chimp has one clear advantage over the others for new business owners: it is free.There is a ranking of the Top 10 Email Marketing Services over at TopTenReviews.com that provides a comparison chart (Mail Chimp is in 10th place, Constant Contact is in 5th).
