This slideshow (at freetechforteachers.com) was intended for teachers but shows anyone how to set up a Posterous site. You can have a blog up and running in just a few minutes if you follow these instructions.

Posterous is free and a great place to get some blogging experience. Posterous has also made it very easy to use an existing domain. Posterous is a temporary alternative to a ‘coming soon’ page if you already own your domain name, but you’re not ready for a website.
